Find Your Model Number

 

Generac's model numbers are printed on each standby and portable generator and is easy to find. Below you will see where to locate them.  You can type your model number in the Search bar next to FIND PRODUCTS to see your illustrated parts lists and diagrams for your unit.
 

Standby Generators

  • 8KW-26KW (2008 models to present): Lift the top cover of your unit and you will find the model number on a label located on the right-hand side of your unit. It will be on the inside of the panel below the controller and near the engine.
  • 14KW-18KW (2020 to present with 816cc engines): Lift the top cover/panel of your unit and you will find the model number on a label located on the right-hand side of your unit. It will be on the front-facing panel below the controller.

Portable Generators:

  • Special Order items
  • Whole goods and attachments, literature, engines, pumps, short blocks, electrical parts, gaskets, liquids, chemicals, sprays
  • Items with damaged or non-original packaging
  • Installed, used or damaged items
